My Story

Over the last few years, I have helped hundreds of people lose weight and stick to their health goals. â€‹

During that time, I have come to realise that I work best with system-thinkers like myself, and hence why I specialise in working with remote and hybrid knowledge workers.

I understand that the flexibility of modern work can also mean that it's hard to keep to one's health goals without support and accountability, and that's why I like to work with my clients to systematise their food, movement and sleep habits.

We can then work through any difficulties that may come up that are particular to your situation.

In addition to helping people lose weight, I also teach Wing Chun Kung Fu, and am a former jazz saxophonist. I also have a lot of experience managing my own autoimmune condition (Crohn's) with a combination of lifestyle choices and medical support.

My training includes:

  • 'Motivational Interviewing' Course from Psychwire

  • Weight Loss Coaching training with MyBodyTutor

  • 15+ yrs in Wing Chun Kung Fu, including living for a year in Hong Kong. Teaching for 10+ yrs.

  • Blue Belt in NoGi Jiu-Jitsu, formally under Roger Gracie

  • Coaching in the 'Starting Strength' method of Barbell Strength Training (not certified)

  • Fully Qualified Alexander Technique Teacher (3yrs)

  • 'Top Performer' Course from Cal Newport/Scott Young

  • Undergraduate Degree in Jazz Saxophone, 10+ yrs teaching

  • Training course on childhood trauma with Gabor Mate

  • 20+ yrs managing my own autoimmune condition (Crohn's)
